A quiet Wednesday night in Manly. We sat outside on the balcony, and enjoyed the cool breeze. Wine list is limited, but is value for money and adequate. We had steamed dim sum which was tasty, followed by sate beef and pork belly with tofu. Both were flavor some in the Aussie Chinese way. Would have been improved with some Veges like broccoli and snap peas and baby corn.

Steamed rice was dry and lumpy! Service was ok, only three couples at any one time while we were there. We arrived early in the evening and were seated immediately but from then on service was very slow and our waiter very disinterested. We has spring rolls and steamed dim sims - the spring rolls were terrible and I found a large piece of bone in a dim sim.
The rest of the food was okay but we won't be hurrying back! Don't let the exterior put you off this Chinese is lovely. Authentic bighty flavours, excellent service and reasonably priced drink menu. Interior could be rejuvenated to make better use of the lovely view but it really doesn't take away from the consistently good food. Own or manage this property?
