The bathroom was really nice, aside from the faucet not being screwed on maintenance guy fixed it , shower gel container they provided was broken, and toilet looked about 20 years old. They gave us a bottle of wine since we were there for our honeymoon. Cons: It's really a motel, not a hotel.
Room was not artsy, eclectic, or colorful like they advertise- it was brown, beige, and black with only 2 splashes of color in the whole room. Housekeeping sucked- didn't vacuum when there were obvious areas of food crumbs, left the garbage can on the toilet, didn't replace ice bag, didn't notify maintenance of problems with room he specifically said they're supposed to do that. Internet was practically nonexistent and we were only allowed two devices. No HDMI hookups on the tvs.
Front desk wasn't very helpful and didn't notify maintenance the first time we came to them with problems.

Curtain was ripped so 6 inches of light poured in the room. People smoked outside our room so the smoke smell got in our room die to the 1 inch gaps around the door. Cons: there was no elevator, had a lot of bags I had to drag upstairs. The laundry room was out of order. Staff seemed confused at morning checkout, said I was listed as a no show? Pros: breakfast was unavailable until later, so had to go elsewhere. Cons: promptness of breakfast staff to open kitchen. Pros: The room looked and smelled clean. Cons: This was not the best location, if you want the convention center there is still travel required.
Pros: Great location, shopping nearby. Cons: comfort inn is currently under construction. Cons: Poor quality of toiletries. Thin walls - room over the breakfast room - heard everything. Pros: Excellent location, has many food joints around, good for family or business. Pros: Staff were excellet and plotted my route when pressed for time. Good bed and internet access. Pros: The location of the hotel was great.
There were plenty of stores and restuarants to take care of all your needs. Cons: The only thing I didn't like was I that wasn't aloowed to use my triple a discount. But other than that the hotle was excellent. Long Beach Marriott. Cons: you have to pay for wifi, business center, copies etc.
I also expect a free breakfast for a room that costs that much. Pros: Convenient location is about it. Cons: The beds were SO bad. Old, uncomfortable, not many pillows. The shower did not work well—hot Ware was sporadic. The carpets throughout the hotel were SO dirty. Looked as if they were rarely cleaned and never vacuumed. The AC system was awful. The room smelled like old damp socks. Pros: Comfortable rooms, oversized, modern day TVs and available electrical outlets.
Cons: Dusty lamps - every one them. House keeping cut corners, this one day, and hopefully, this one room only. Cons: My room reeked of smoke. I was not able to change rooms.

A very poor experience. Pros: Good breakfast and staff. Cons: Make the lobby temp warmer. It was freezing and not comfortable. Hallway rugs are worn and need replacing. Looks like some upgrades are being done. Had to get another room because light fixture in room had an incessant buzz. Residence Inn by Marriott Long Beach. Overall 7. Excellent 9. Cons: Trash outside my room. Huge bags of trash with beer bottles and used cases of beer. Pros: The location was easily accessible to the freeway and downtown areas.
Quiet stay and comfortable amenities. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Cons: Cigarette butts all over stairs -and next to doors. Dead cockroaches on landing of stairs. Breakfast buffet very mediocre.
