We all ordered at the same time, and settled back with drinks and conversation. Two meals arrived, but after 15 minutes waiting for the other two, I enquired with staff. After a further 15 minutes, the missing two meals arrived - one a pumpkin salad that would have taken no time to put together, and the other a fancified steak burger that was raw. Obviously, the two orders had been forgotten and then very quickly assembled following my query - but too quickly for the steak. I told them to take it away. Aside from the annoyance of the two forgotten meals, I was most annoyed at the lack of apology or acceptance that a mistake had been made by them.
No chef came out to apologise, and no apologies were offered at the till. The offer of "Is there anything I can get you" by table staff was vague and lacking in sincerity. We've eaten here before, but never again. BTW it was my birthday lunch with family. Hi Peter, We sincerely apologise for the 8 minute wait between the first 2 meals arriving and the second 2 meals. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication in the kitchen which held up the meals as it was the first day of our new menu.
We offered to remake your meal with well done steak to which you refused. We offered you complimentary coffee and cake to which you refused and offered many apologies, which leaves me slightly confused by your review. We sincerely apologise that you feel we ruined your birthday lunch, but take comfort in the fact that you were able to celebrate it with friends. Kind regards, Charli.

Surrounded by trees and umbrellas to keep you shaded. Coffee is delicious. Had the big Brekky which consisted of bacon, chorizo sausage, eggs, tomato, mushrooms, potato and pumpkin rosti and toast. Staff are friendly and pets are welcome. Dining available inside and out.
Bathroom amenities are clean. Would definitely dine here again when in the area. As always great service and great food. Awesome vegetarian options. Top restaurant food at cafe prices. This place has amazing atmosphere, interesting menu and good food. Really enjoyed my prawn tagliatelle. Good service and a wizard shop attached to the building. If you in Samford village this place is a must a visit! Will come back next time again. I have moved to the area recently and our daughter is visiting us from the UK and this was recommended for lunch.

Three of us went for lunch, booked a table and arrived early, no problem. The service was great and food was yummy. We all enjoyed our meals and the servings were also very generous. The food was warm when it arrived and we were all served together, all of which seems to be a challenge for many restaurants these days!
