Andy, the concierge, offered us an umbrella as we walked out since it was raining on and off outside, and was super kind each time we walked past on our way in and out. Together, these experiences made us feel like we were getting 5 star treatment! The hotel is also new, clean, comfortable, modern, and conveniently located. Right next to hardware lane, with a nice choice of trendy breakfast spots right downstairs, and plenty of restaurants open late each night right on the block, which was great after day trips out to the 12 apostles and Phillip island.

I decided to stay here based on Trip advisor reviews. The hotel has met my expectations. The room is modern with Wifi and a massive TV which has chrome cast. All the staff are super friendly and helpful, even if they are riding in the lift.
The room is warm modern and cosy. The Hotel is close to shopping and transport. There are three restaurants but also lots of dining options within walking distance.

Kind regards, Ibis Melbourne Central. It is a very nice hotel right in the heart of CBD. The location is almost perfect. It is just a walk or a tram ride to almost all things to-do and to-visit in the city. Most eateries and restaurants are just a step away.

Queen Victoria market is just a few minutes walk. Take a free tram ride to Flinders Street Station and take the Metro to visit other places of interest. At the end of the day, go back to the hotel and enjoy its amenities and the pleasant comfort of your room.

I loved the museums, galleries and laneway art, Union and Hosier Lane along with the Melbourne Museum, Immigration Museum and film museum across from Flinders Street Station are my top picks for tourist things to do in Melbourne. The zoo was amazing but definitely give yourself more than 3 hours as I did.

The staff were very helpful and although it isn't amazing the accommodation provided everything I needed, which really was just a place to sleep and store my things. They also hold your bags for free until your flight. The SkyBus do trips from the airport and will drop you outside of your hotel.
I will definitely be back in town soon Melbourne!! I took my family to Melbourne to the laneways of Melbourne to shop and eat and discover. Ibis Victoria hotel on litre Collins was perfect as we could walk to all the places we wanted to visit easily then return to a clean and comfortable room to relax. Accommodation was very scarce and prices were highly inflated. Public transport and taxi system in Melbourne coped admirably with the huge influx of visitors and tourists.
The weather was perfect and not a protest about anything in sight. I travelled alone but had no occasion to be fearful walking back to a different accommodation on three other nights. Thankfully, I was able to alter my return flight date and time so treated myself, my son's idea, to just one night at the Crown Towers. We're both going in the winter Uni holidays. We loved our accommodation at Hotel Sophia. Wonderful staff and rooms cleaned everyday. Great food in Melbourne. Spent the whole day there. Stayed at Mercure on Albert Park. The buffet breakfast at the hotel was well priced and served the best scrambled eggs I've ever eaten.
The movie I had paid for didn't work but this was fixed and sorted within five minutes. The Mercure will be my go-to accomodation for all future trips to Melbourne. Everything was very clean throughout with all facilities needed for a comfortable stay.
The mantra is in a great location in the CBD. We will probably choose Mantra again when we are next in Melbourne. Balcony and window views of docklands and city. The Crown Metropol has always been our favourite hotel in Melbourne, but as we now live in the UK this was our first stay in 4 years. We are so pleased that the standards remain exceptionally high at this Hotel, and exceeded expectations on our return.
Since it's located in CBD there are several restaurant and eatries which stay open until midnight.

Conveniently located for pickup and drop off by most tour operators 3. From airport one can take a skybus which drops off at southern Cross station which is abt mtrs from hotel. You can take any tram and travel for free till your journey is limited to CBD free tram zone. The Tolarno is a boutique hotel with some great artful throughout. Daniel at the front desk was always helpful with directions. An Ibis Budget hotel is always going to be cheap and cheerful. This hotel does the job, was very well located and came in at a good price for the center of the CBD.
Walking distance to most places you want to go and within the free tram system. Double bedroom apartment was fairly large compared to a lot of other apartments in Melbourne CBD. Added bonus of having a kitchenette with cooktop. Location is quiet for Melbourne CBD but still well positioned and close to many attractions. The hotel was well-located for restaurants and public transit. Within walking distance of the St.
Kilda Beach. We had absolutely no difficulty getting into Melbourne CBD. Clean, modern, comfortable and close to CBD, friendly efficient service. Its location is superb. Smack right in the heart of the CBD of Melbourne. This hotel is in the heart of Melbourne, just some steps from Swanston St. There is a nice chandelier in the entry and a bar in the mezzanine. The room for 4 people was spacious and clear.
We didn't try the breakfast, since there were plenty of other more economic options nearby. Location is perfectly suited, just in the middle of Swaston and Elisabeth St. The area is very lively. Full of shops, restaurants and coffee Public library just next door.
Staff were excellent!! BJ was great and very accommodating. Facilities were top notch for the budget we paid!! Thank you guys for being above and beyond!! The view from the room was very nice and the location is good to calm down from the city centre. Definitely I will use again. The location of the hotel was fantastic, we got the room keys before time. It was awesome to see the rooms and facilities. Very good affordable stay in a great location.
